The "T" started in about the mid 30's, the "V" late 30's due to the "V" grill and "W" in 1941 due to the "W" grill which "V" and "W" designation carried over the military trucks.
The "C" being given for payload doesn't make since for 1/2 through 1-1/2 trucks when the VF was a 1-1/2 ton truck, so whatever you have from Chrysler to explain it all is most useful.
