well, if you REALLY kept a running total, I THINK you might be surprized at all the little stuff yuo forgot.
as I am rebuilding a 1941 WC12 from the ground up, I made a concious effort to keep all receipts, and from time to time, add them to the list I am keeping track of.
Theose trips for bolts and nuts, that can of spray paint or grease. or the brake fuilds, cleaners, rags, fittings, carb cleaner, etc, etc really add up!
I am over 13K to date in my rig, and its not a runner!
I figure it will top 15K when done, FAR more than I first budgeted myself.
but... I know it will be done 100% to my satisfaction. Not ONE single item will have been over looked when I am done.
