Wanted it for 120 lights and motor use mostly so I went with the Modified Sine Wave (MSW)one to save some money. I can still run a compressor, drill motor, impact wrench, most electronics ect working on the place away from the house power and not drag out my generator. Less than $150.00 for the unit and will mount next to the battery for shorter cables @ high amps. My alternator should carry it being 105 amps to make 10.5 amps at 120 volts (1200 watts approx.)not drawing from the battery. I went bigger so not to over heat the inverter.
