See the little black spot? It's in a piece of 14ga sheet metal bent to suit the frame work. Drill and weld a 7/16" nut to the back before welding plate in. Then measure carefully to a couple trim screw holes so you can triangulate the location and punch through the headliner for th rebolt. Use a spacer on the bolt. I like OE shoulder bolts from the junk yard, they let the belt swivel.

I figure that is about as strong as factory installations. Basically, the tension will be in the direction of the strap, forward and down. No need to make it strong enough to hold the Queen Mary, unless you are hoping to pop your head off from G forces.

Later, when I modified to 5-window, I used a hoop made from 1 1/4" square tubing. I had to fabricate the corners from four pieces each, the corners are accelerating radiuses. The hoop went from door to door, with a center splice over the back window. That splice will be in compression in the case the belts are ever used.
