I called the oil guy and he said put 3 tubes of additive in the pumpkin and then fill with oil. The local auto parts guy said put one tube in. One tube was $10 so that's what I put in. Sounds like it's not too critical. When we start to get some snow or ice I'll have to take it out and see if the limited slip is working. The 65 D200 has it and I tried it back when it was driveable and it worked neat. Drove up a steep road with one side on ice and the other on dirt and it just went right up it. Kind of a neat discovery to find the 300 has limited-slip too. Both gearboxes have fresh oil. Now I just need to pull the manifolds and fix that leak, and upgrade to a Weber carb and it should be good to go. Radio is in (unobtrusively) and works great thanks to an extra-long antenna.
