Once saw a sun shade / visor on a PW and it had the center support, the type of shade most used on vehicles with split windshields. I asked how it affected the operation of the windshield and he said that he leaves the bracket loosely clamped and it slides along the divider when opening and closing. He didn't give a demo, but I find it hard to believe that it would operate smoothly, if at all. Seems to me it would just be applying upward pressure on the visor
Just something to think about, as I too am interested in adding a visor to my truck.
