If I wanted to Shoot the Cab Again?

If I wanted to shoot the whole cab again at the same time I catch those spots on the dash do I wet sand the whole cab first? If so what grit would not mess up the urethane paint? Or just mask off the windshield opening and paint the dash to stop the over spray landing on the rest of the paint? I have enough paint left to do this plus do the doors and hood. Do you wait for the paint to cure hard first?
