steering knuckle. drill bolts and safety wire??

has anyone drilled and safety wired the 4 bolts that hold the knuckle and the steering pivot together?? I had some steering wander and found all 4 bolts loose. going to install new lock washers but figured that safety wiring may be a good idea. i have PS on this 3/4 ton command car.
