I like it a lot. I used to be able to pick up anything I could get my arms around or under and load it in the truck. But I can't do a lot of what I used to do. :)
I have loaded some big rocks, stumps, logs, etc. with it. I tossed the boat winch and mounted a Superwinch 3000# electric winch. Now I have to be careful because the winch will handle more than the crane will.
Basically, for the money and for what I want it to do, it works great. You have to make sure you are parked level if you are trying to load anything real heavy so you can control the pivoting. It's a small tube inside a larger tube rotating on a big roller bearing. It had a phony brake built into the base, but it only lasted a short time. and I got rid of the twinkie little rod that screwed into the base to supposedly hold it and through drilled a few holes that I can pass a 1/2" lock pin through to hold it where I want it.
To get anything better you will probably have to put a 1 in front or a zero behind the number in the price. :)
