well thats what I was thinking too, to try, before yanking the engine. My last attempt before doing so.. tring some remedy like this..

I was gonna get me some Marvelous mystery oil and dump into the spark plug holes and rotate the engine by hand, with plugs out, and let her sit a day or so. see if that liquid sqeeks on down to the rings giving me the problem.

anyone else with any remedy success stories like this one?

ATF? any other snake oil? if so, I am all ears.
