If you think about it, the body was a civilian design. The civilian has tear drop shaped fenders both front and rear. The rear part of both fenders were enclosed. If you look at the body both front and rear wheel openings on these carryalls match the civilian fender shape. The fender openings were changed on the 3/4 ton carryall to a more rounded shape.
