That is what I do and will have 2 cans of hardener to work with one per quart of paint. I was told it goes bad fast after opening it. When I shot it the last time I mixed it a spray gun batch at a time to see how far it went. First time I worked with Bondo a long time ago I mixed the whole can at once. Big mistake and what a waste of material!! Nice part is it did not take that much to do the cab. Nothing deeper then 1/8 inch.
