Is "open" clockwise or counterclockwise? I know this is a simple thing that everybody else knows like the back of their hand, but I don't, and I'm just trying to figure out which way it turns (CW or CCW, not "up", "down", "left", "right", etc) to provide carb heat. I understand the purpose and theory of heat risers. I just want to know how the flapper is configured on the shaft inside the manifold where I can't see it. Does fully CCW (the position it's in now) provide carb heat or not? I know it's a dumb question and everybody else knows the answer, but I don't. Which way makes it hot?
