I'm sure the newer Quadradrives are different, but my friend has Quadradrive in his 03 Overland (pictured) and I have an '04 European spec Grand Cherokee, which came standard with that same system. We like them. The hydraulic clutches are a unique approach that does not require any electronics to go from full open differentials to locked in both axles and the transfercase. On-road performance is smooth as long as you maintain good CV joints in the axles and drive shafts. It is a real mountain goat with the hydraulic clutches. The only off-roading drawback I have experienced is in the electronic control of the engine, and not the drivetrain. I nearly got stuck on a wet lawn, because the computer limited RPMs when trying to rock from forward to reverse. No doubt, it was protecting the engine/transmission from over-revving.
