I'm adding a radio to the "turnip truck" in preparation for a long road trip and figured I'd just hook it up to a convenient spot on the fuse block. Turns out there is no fuse block, and as near as I can tell, there are no fuses at all. I found a wiring diagram at Sweptline.com (thanks!) and it doesn't show any fuses either. The back of the headlight switch seems to be used as the main distribution point, but all the wiring is kind of haphazard, confirming my opinion that electricity was the weakness of the old Dodges.

I can easily add an inline fuse for the radio, but it's disconcerting to think that any short anywhere would burn up some random wire and maybe leave the truck dead on the side of the road. I would really like the headlights to work even if the heater or brake light wire shorts out, and I would really like the ignition to keep working no matter what else shorts out. Am I missing something? Are there fuses hidden there someplace? Even the M37s had circuit breakers on everything but the ignition wire.
