I think it would work best to use M37 extensions, and then fabricate new base angles for the winch. You will probably have to stretch the M37 extensions in order to make enough room for the winch to fit. Like Tom said, you may also need to figure out how to sneak the drive line past the cross member, as I think the MU2 sits higher than the LU4.

Good luck, and let us know how it goes. The MU2 is a much more reliable winch, since it is rated with a 3:1 safety factor, whereas the LU4 is rated with very little safety factor. This was told to me by one of the engineers as Braden winch.
