I even have the names of the camps but the exact location of this one is lost to time.
There was one camp near Lilloooet and in the valley North of Kamloops I found five more. In some of the areas the Japanese stayed after the war, they had no where else to go, their homes had been confiscated and not returned.
Most camps were for POWs and some were for the Canadian citizens who's only crime was to be Japanese. Same silly stuff happened down your way, but i am not sure to what degree.
