I built the hinge for this tank and it uses 2- 6" long by 3/4" Grade 8 bolts to hold the back of the tank on & the pivot point for frame flex. I also used 6 tank springs with 1/2" grade 8 bolts thru them to allow it to flex around and not rip the tank up. I used 2 plates punched to 3/4" on each side welded on frame and tank. 10 years it has held and the tank welds are still not leaking. I feel good it past the test on fire roads. I am sure the small 6X6 frame will do just fine. While up I will hook my tractor to it and pull it sideways by the end just to make sure it can lift the tire on one side and still function later.
