Here is how the bed frame will fit on/in. The Mock-up 2x4 should be notched for a 2" Drop like the frame will. I have 2 Hard Rubber Military Axle Stops for the center of the bed rails to sit on I can cut to fit. The cab end will have a wider & longer section so it sits across & on the truck frame at rest. This will also be used to lock the bed frame down tight.
There will be a 9" wide X 39 1/2" long 3/8" steel plate with a 2" bend across the back bolted on top of the bearing pads. I will fabricate & weld this into the 2-(2"X4"X3/16")bed rails. Might even go with 3/16" x 4" angle iron and cross brace it. Then I can drop the cross braces into it to be welded and bolt the bed bottom to. Need to add a cross member into the bed frame near the middle for the Cylinders Rod Mounts.
