I used to own a '69 W500. It was one of the coolest trucks I have ever owned, and one of the cleanest W500s I have ever seen. Massively built and massive itself.
I would love to have kept the truck, but I found I never used it. And, I traded it for body and paint work on my WDX that I couldn't have done myself. Mine had power steering, power brakes, MU winch, and hubs and was a blast to drive.
I traded it a few years ago to a friend who is now trying to sell it. If you are interested in it, I can provide his email and phone.
