Thought maybe I should clarify - I'm not primarily looking for cash. I want to make some space in my yard/driveway before winter and I've kind of burned out my W-300 passion (still have my W-200 ladder bucket truck and '61 W-100 pickup - though $2,500 or an old Ford swap would take the '61 down the drive!
C'mon guys - 50 years ago I bought my 1st Model A Ford, went through more A's and '35 and '36 sedans and lots of flathead speed equipt during my teens, moved up to Maine in my '46 Ford 1/2 ton in '70. I did have a couple '35 Ford pickups and 1/2 dozen mid '30s- 40s project/parts trucks (including a nice amateur restored '35 1 1/2 ton w/dumping rack - daily driver, fondly remember delivering firewood with my older daughter in that one.)
What can I say - I guess nostalgia has gotten the best of me. Hopefully we'll find some good homes for my 300s, there's also some extra tin, Dana 70s, manuals and parts books, etc. I'm pushing 70, have just been diagnosed with MS, have a 1957 JD 420 tractor needing work (and a '57 JD 420 crawler also needing more work!) The tractor and crawler fit inside so I can work on them during the winter, and after all
these years I'm still lusting after what I always wanted, but never had: a 1928 or '29 Ford A pickup, would prefer original engine but a model B 4-banger would be nicer. I've got no problem with original mechanical brakes, would prefer 16" spoke wheels instead of the original 21" or 19". Old Ford guys know what I'm talking about - just getting harder and harder to find - both the cars, and the old farts who love them!
Sorry that this has drifted away from Dodge Power Wagon content - just hoping that I might make contact with an old Ford/Power Wagon guy who's in a swapping mood!
