No booster on '47 WDX, works fine

I have Tim Peterson's first generation front axle disc brake kit on my 1947 WDX and it works great without any vaccuum booster or proportioning valve (I kept drums on the rear axle). It seems and feels like power brakes compared to the soggy old drum brakes.
