I'm not sure if this is the same topic but, I hate those infernal, bright fog/parking lights they put in the bumper/spoilers of newer vehicles plus, those infernal blue headlights! Why do people feel the need to run both at night? Rush was even annoyed by it as was many callers. When is enough ,enough? They are blinding and are a safety hazard in my opinion for that very reason, a blinding safety hazard. Lights only al3rt those that are paying attention .
If your paying attention ,you don't need enough light to land a 747 at night. The speed limits are such that if you obey them , standard headlights give adequite illumination for night and rainy-weather driving. When you blind me ,you annoy me. When I'm annoyed, I'm distracted. When I'm distracted, I'm not focused and able to drive in my safest and most al3rt mode. Hence, when you drive around blinding and annoying and distracting other drivers with those infernal bright blue headlights and fog/driving? lights, you are causing a safety hazard.
And what about those who buys a black, silver or charcole gray or other dark colored car that blends into the wet roads, should they be required to run headlight whenever the vehicle is running because of the stealthy camo nature of these colors on the roads? Boy that feels good to get that off my chest! Everything new, is not good.
