Seriously... close all your unused applications, check all your temporary files (internet, pst, etc...) and delete the garbage (temp files and unused-unwanted disc hogs). Your browser has a difficult time opening files without enough RAM and will take on the appearance of a "slow connection". Check your system configuration to see if you have enough disc memory available for your system to operate when the browsers are launched. Too many people think it's modem line speed problem when the PC is actually the bottleneck! Even at 2400 baud you should be able to access your Internet provider (detailed pictures tale awhile to download) and check the forum or search ebay. For a home line connection (assuming you have a high speed dial-up modem), if your provider has higher speed modems (up to 44k), you should be able to connect at those speeds and enjoy better surfing. If all else fails... ask Mike Stone! P.S. I am a married man with children therefore I can claim I know nothing and have no opinions about anything! Thanks! Now... If I could just find a PTO hydraulic pump or a couple of headlight assemblies for my '53 FlatFender???
