I have a bored and stroked '73 340 (416 CID)in my M37 and I am doing the final tune. It has the 340/360 heads on it, torque cam, 750 Q-Jet and MSD ignition. Being a Chevy racer all my life I know Chevys like 40-42 degrees of timing total, big block or small. I have 40 degrees (15 initial) in the 416 now and with 9.4:1 compression and burning 93 octane Shell I get no detonation. So, my question is: how much timing do small block Dodges like?
