There are lots of pumps that will work on your truck. Most are good, but the best that I know of(and we ARE talking PW quality here) is called a 'rotary vane pump.' They are, of course, the most expensive. Most full line companies market them- Airtex, Carter, Napa, Holley, etc. They come in six or twelve volt configurations. I have had one on my W200 for years with total satisfaction. Just remember to filter the fuel BEFORE it enters the pump, as they are sensitive to contaminants. They run all the time and make a little noise, so choose a mounting locat1on preferably not on a body panel, and the farthest from heat as reasonably possible. I strongly recommend using a pressure regulator. One or two PSI is adequate and will keep you from flooding out in rough territory. Also consider installing an oil pressure activated switch on the pump circuit. In the event of accident or some other disaster(God forbid) the flow stops when the engine does. I put a momentary override swicth in my circuit, too, makes priming a breeze.
