If the Saudi's are buying the surplus Thai Power Wagons they are not shipping them here. I have lived in Saudi for thirteen years. I can smell a Power Wagon from 100 miles. I have never seen a military or civilian style Power Wagon driven on the road or in the desert in thirteen years except mine which I drove from where it had been parked for twenty plus years to my house where it continues to sit. Power Wagons although they are the toughest trucks ever built are too slow for the road system here. If you drive under 120 km an hour here you will be rear ended. However, there are quite a few Power Wagons here, leftover from the days when the National Guard drove them. Some others, slant six conversions, that I believe were obtained (stolen) from the Israelis in 1972/73 (mine is one of these). Most of these are in junk yards currently being stripped for parts by me (no one else needs them). Others can be seen in amusement parks crawling with kids.
The parts I'm collecting and don't need for my projects will someday be shipped to your side of the world. Mostly sheet metal parts already naturally sand blasted and rust free due to the almost 0 humidity here. I have also found what I think is a substantial source of NOS Mopar parts. I still need to do an inventory to be sure. I will need a contact states side to receive parts that I collect here so if you or anyone else is intereted let me know.
