I put the bed on a rolling chassis to see if it works. Basicly you would need to take 2" out in front of the wheel well and put it back in behind the wheel well, effectivly moving the wheel well forward 2" and adding 2" to the back. A daunting task for a part time welder/fabricator I think. Anyone want to trade a excellent 3rd series bed for a excellent 1st series bed (with fenders and tailgate)that I have?
