Your best bet is buying a Lakewood scattershield. They make them for the trucks now due to all the truck pullers. We used to use the car ones after making the necessary mods. They accept both new process and new venture trannies so you could put an nv4500 from a new dodge and have overdrive. They lakewoods are steel an unbreakable and sell for about $350. The stock aluminum ones are easy to blow apart and they bring big money because of the rarity, usually $300-500.
