Yes I'm aware of those setups from my youth but, I'm of a mind to have a 1bbl. carb for every intake port (which services 2cyl.ea.).
Each small tubular intake port manifold would service 2 cyl. and would not need to share air/fuel mixture with the other 2 manifolds(hopefully). If rhey weren't so expensive I'd love to try 3 sidedraft weber
carbs or harley carbs(if they'd work) whichever is cheaper. Not for racing mind you,but for the best performance using equal length intake runners. This setup with headers, a mild cam, and electronic ignition should prove to be a reliable increase in performance and power. Thats why I wanted a pic of the linkage setup to give me a ref. in the future .
