Ranger OD (also available as an underdrive) is made by Advance Adapters (www.advanceadapters.com).

The Ranger's case is seven inches long. It fits between your bellhousing and your transmision. The overdrive ratio is 0.73:1.0 I have one behind my Cummins 4BT and in front of the NP420 in my '53 M37. I typically use it to split the 3-4 shift and to provide a high 4. It can be used off road and when using the winch.

Cost of a Ranger OD is $1500, mine was a custom unit that ran $1700 (Chevy front, Ford rear plate, old Dodge output splines, machine work to make it fit the NP420...).

Email me or check out Advance's web page for more information.
