When I was a kid, my dad had a Vincent shadow or something like that. Always working on it. He also had a CZ and the only reason I remember it was that the gas tank was held on with a leather strap and he had to start it on one type of spark plug, then after it was warm, change the plug to a different type he carried in his tool kit!
If John Zentmeyer would write his book he could title it "Zen(temyer) and the art of fixi'n old PW's"! ;-)
