when changing a clutch & pressure plate is it important to balance the new parts? i bought a govt rebuilt engine and replaced the rusty pressure plate and clutch disc-- i didn't pay any attention to balancing it. maybe its causing the noise i hear under my command car. i still have to inspect the body mounts (rebuilt) to see if the body rests on the tranny and i have to check the throwout bearing spring and its grease level. my mack trucks have a greasable throwout bearing. can you lube the throwout bearing in place??? thanks
