Yup, In NY older vehicles and Boats are not titled. You have a certificate of registration and a bill of sale is all thats needed to sell/transfer ownership.
A few years ago, I bought a Corvette in Maine.
The seller told me in Maine old vehicles ( dont know years) just needed a bill of sale. I checked with our local DMV office, the nice lady looked up Maine in her book and agreed a Bill of sale is all thats needed.
But all states can be different, check with your own DMV, not what you read here.
