I have a tank and I'm in CALIF. I am not sure but I think it is 1951 and newer. It has the twist in sender as opposed to the 5 screw mounting. I picked it up with a pile of other stuff. If I needed it I would have taken it to the radiator shop and have them test it for leaks. I have kept it for at least a year in case someone needed it.
