Check your direction sheets for the primer you used. It will be in there and if they didn't give you them they may be online. Generally 24 hours and you are good to go.

I would NOT thin your hardener down on the filler. That is a recipe for a lot of work if not cured correctly. Mix smaller amounts. I used Rage extreme which spreads easier. I also used Slick sand which is a sprayable filler. Does take a BIG tip to spray but dries fats and sands great.

You should have a complete coat of primer before top coats. If you try to spray over various different surfaces/products, it WILL show in the final result. Even with an even coat of high build primer, most manufacturers recommend and sealer coat of primer for uniform color. I sprayed a later of epoxy primer and 1 hour later started the top coat. You do not sand the sealer primer.

One thing you do not want to do is get ANY water or wet sand bondo. It is like a sponge and will draw the water in. Once top top coated, the water can't get out so it ends up blistering or cracking the paint. I've seen this happen time and time again to people.

It all boils down on how far you want to go with it. Follow the directions for the least amount of problems.
