I would suspect timing issues check for advance curve on rev up then plugged up holes in the main fuel jet system. The accelerator pump could be out of adjustment. Mine carb did the same and it was plugged part way holes inside my carb behind the driven in plugs, I missed a couple and paid for it over and over.
