Dang! Manitowoc, that's my hometown. I did some checking with the locals. Here's what I found.
The truck really was a First Chrysler dealership truck. The truck could be seen outside the dealership on nice days. The dealership, however, was recently sold. It may be the new owner who is listing the truck (probably as a joke!).
As for the truck, the listing possibly lists the correct year, 1942. Those who knew the truck said it was real pretty, but something about it always look disproportional. The chassis was a bit too short, and for a while, the radiator shroud was more squarish than a proper Power Wagon hood.
So, it sounds like this is very likely a re-bodied WC. Re-bodied and cobbled together with unknown parts. Headlights are wrong. Running boards wrong. Seats are wrong. And that is what can be seen from just two almost identical pictures.
Still, nice paint. If it runs as nicely as it looks, I would price it in the 10-12k range.
