"Fuel" is way too easy to blame for pretty much every problem. Engines should be designed to run on a very average grade of fuel. This notion that you should have to buy some special stuff, mix it with great precision, store it under ideal conditions, and discard it if it's not perfect is just an excuse to cover up bad designs, or at the dealer end, to blame the customer for problems the dealer either doesn't know how to fix, or can't fix because the products aren't designed right.
