Just have to rant. I have owned several brands of weed trimmers. Many were bought brand new. One was a remanufactured unit. The others were second hand. The common factor with them all is they all become inoperable within a couple of years, some just in 4 months. I did get 3 years out of the remanufactured one (a $50 Ryobi). I use only non-ethanol premix fuel & keep the air filter & spark plug changed. But no matter how good I keep them up, they each reach a point where they either won't idle, will bog upon pulling the trigger or flat out won't run. And this is not taking into account issues I have had with the line spool mechanisms.......... BTW my Black & Becker battery powered trimmer works perfectly, except it needs about 3 times the battery capacity to do what I need it to do.... Should I try a 4 stroke weedeater? Or just get more batteries for B & D, or maybe get a corded electric trimmer.
