I have an employee who last year met a woman who's "job" is to write glowing, phony reviews for restaurants.
It is a full time home based job. She is a foodie so knows what terminology sounds good to restaurant patrons. I think it is rare that she ever visits the places she claims of in the reviews.
Particularly jarring is that statistical research shows that the Millennial generation is more likely to use an on-line review for their decision making than taking the trouble to get word of mouth recommendations.
