i had the nylon inlet fittings made at the machine shop and got the clamps off the shelf at the hardware store
i want to see if i can do the inlet fittings out of copper brass or aluminum tho and maybe some stainless steel clamps
may or may not be a good way to clamp them--i just pulled it all apart and took out the rubber inserts in the inlets on the mc and the lip on one just ripped
off as i was pulling it out so i may have damaged it by clamping to hard
best way may be too make the inserts the same dia. as the inlet housing and hose clamp them
they sell plastic inserts for cheap but i could not find any here but i would rather go for a bronzey brrassy fitting or some such to look more period correct if not will have to go with the plastic ones or nylon ones i made and clamp on with hose clamps
