after I got exposed to zinc fumes at work the concern was that it could create COPD. As it is I now have to deal with asthma attacks for the rest of my life. Add in possible lyme decease and life gets interesting. Your health comes first. It is good to hear that you are having a better day. I certain can relate to having a bum day. Best we can do is fight back. If part of that is sharing with others then go for it. The meat of your post was PW related.
I suspect you need to be very careful with paint. You need to avoid anything with Isocynates, even old paint that contains the stuff. Double particle masks, with a pre filter and carbon filter are a darn good idea too.
