I did one tank seam on a radiator once in a 69 Camaro I had as a young kid(ha-ha). It had a small leak in the seam and I chased it all the way around the tank 1 1/2 times to seal it using a small propane torch. It can be done easier using better tools. I would clean the copper to bare shinny and use a Epoxy 2 part seal for the strength & bond. I have a 75&45 Gallon Aquarium in the house that both are sealed with 100% silicon rated for fish tank use. No extra chemicals in it. It will seal good but it must be clean and watch for the feather edge coming loose. Trim it with a razor knife strait looks cleaner.
