The best exhaust in my mind for a PW with a diesel is a single stack on the outside of the bed, through the running board & then a flapper on top. The whole system needs to be flat black...no stainless or you lose points from the cool police.

That's what I wanted to install on the 1960 W500 with the 5.9 but it had saddle tanks! I even considered cutting a hole in one of the tanks & welding in a sleeve so I could get a 4" pipe through but I quickly came to my senses & realized it was a bad idea.
