Maybe the spirit of a Power Wagon is defined by how you use the truck? I'd welcome any of those legacy trucks on a off-road trail ride. I'd be proud to see one hauling fence posts or hay bales. Heck, I'd even respect somebody for driving one to the shopping mall. As long as it's on the road, they've got me beat. My Carryall hasn't been out of the yard in far too long, which is disgraceful. However, since I haven't tried to modernize it, at least I can claim to be a passive custodian of a real truck. If you're gonna change things up to make it easier to drive, then you better drive the heck out of it.

Mostly, I'm jealous I'm not building trucks for a living or able to drop crazy cash on a such an expensive toy. The prices are high, but it's kinda cool that somebody is making a comfortable living making these creations. If I had the opportunity to sell out and cash in, I think I would do just that. All I need to do now is build me a website and move the decimal point one or two places to the left of market value and I'm ready to open my own line of bespoke Model A ranch buggies.
