One other option is to just have them made. Being you want flat sides that will make it much easier. I know for a fact that Mack Products of Moberly, Missouri will do custom stuff as they made mine. Blank side with no holes or pocket holes. I did those later myself. They were perfect by the way to the measurements I sent them.
In 2001 my bedsides were $200.00 each. One 90 degree on the bottom, 45 degree top with a complete roll. You might also try Matt in Kentucky. For the effort you will have to put into making them it starts looking very reasonable when you look at the time involved. I'd at least suggest calling these 2 sources to get an idea of the price.
