1st series bed

About 10 years ago I took my bed apart. I am now at the point to put it back together. The bed front has holes at the bottom on the lip that points to the rear. Does all of the bed wood bolt to these holes. My outer two boards dont have any holes in them. It looks like the narrow boards do but they are so rotted it is tough to tell. Anybody got a picture of the front inside of there bed to show this.
