I think there were only 3 or 4 attorneys when we moved here. Loggers and mill workers settled their problems at the Tam o'Shanter, or the kamloops (local taverns back then). I'm quite sure with the expanded population of realtors and people with money, the need for attorneys has increased. I personally try to stay away from them. :)
The only time I ever had to consult an attorney was when I built a house for an attorney from Spokane.
But I'm certainly not saying they are all bad. The one I built the house for was a really nice guy......his wife was the problem. Ha Ha
