yours has a chevy 327 with SM420 Transmission? did you go with Hanging pedals or? what did you use?

I recently bought a 41 wc-12, motor and tranny are bad.. this is my chance now to do this swap, if ever I am going to do it.
I am just thinking out loud is all.. Ill probably go the 230 original engine route, but this is my first chance to ever try this swap. and I always thought it would be a cool idea
any issues with the steering? you mentioned using headers that were straight down for max clearance?
Any negatives to the swap? tear up rear third members or axle shafts? anything like this?
